Lupakan IPL, Persipura mantapkan Ikut ISL

Tanda Tanya mengenai kepastian Persipura ikut ISL atau IPL akhirnya terjawab sudah, melalui Ketua Umum Persipura Bapak Drs. Benhur Tomi Mano mengakui bahwa Persipura memantapkan diri untuk mengikuti kompetisi ISL dibanding IPL.

Keputusan ini diambil mengingat Persipura sendiri tetap mengacu pada Kongres Bali, adapun alasannya mengapa Persipura lebih memilih ISL dikarenakan ISL hanya diikuti oleh 18 Klub, kemudian pembagian saham sesuai dengan kesepakatan awal yaitu 99% milik klub dan 1% milik PSSI ini sesuai dengan hasil kesepakatan dalam Kongres Bali sebelumnya, dan juga sangat disayangkan surat persyaratan yang pernah diajukan Persipura kepada IPL beberapa waktu yang lalu rupanya tidak direspon oleh PSSI secara tegas dan tidak adanya kepastian yang kongkrit, olehnya itu dengan tegas kami menyatakan bahwa Persipura tidak mengikuti IPL.
